One World Choir Summit

The OWCS (as pre-program of the European Gospel Festival 1.-3. May, Stuttgart) will provide a forum for choirs from different parts of the world to celebrate the faith, to share music from their cultural background and to provide opportunities for networking.

Choirs from UEM churches and other churches will meet for three days. Singers from Ruanda, Tanzania, South Africa, Indonesia, Germany and other countries will learn from and with each other. With the help of two high profile international choir conductors from Indonesia and Tanzania the participants will get to know musical traditions of the different regions and with this engage in cultural and musical exchange.

On Thursday evening there will be a OWCS-concert in the Hospitalhof in which the choirs will present several songs from their repertoire.

On Friday the choirs will perform together as OWCS-choir at the festival concert (opening) of the European Gospel Festival in the Porsche-Arena.
